Notă biografică
About the Author: In her first book, Charlene M. Cavers has drawn on her childhood experiences on the farm to bring Maddy the Westie to life for young readers. A grandmother of three, Charlene originally wrote about her pet dog so that she could read the stories to her grandchildren. A strong believer in the power of books to educate and entertain children, Charlene is now sharing her stories with the world. After raising her two sons on the family farm, and retiring from a successful career in the medical field, Charlene now lives with her partner, Dave, and travels between Fort St. John, British Columbia and Berwyn, Alberta. About the Illustrator: Margaret Cavers May grew up on the farm where Maddy had all her adventures and has used her artistic talent to bring the little Westie back to life! She and her husband, Dean, still live near Fort St. John, where they raised their two children. With a degree in History and a diploma in Fine Arts, Margaret combines her love of reading and drawing in Maddy the Dragon Slayer.
