Notă biografică
Sukru Mehmet Erturk: After graduating from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, a german high school in Istanbul, Dr. Erturk studied medicine at Cerrahpasa School of Medicine of Istanbul University. After graduating from medical school, he completed a one-year certificate program in hospital management at the Institute of Business Administration of Istanbul University. Mehmet started his specialty training in radiology at the Sisli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 1998. Upon completing his training, Dr. Erturk moved to Boston and completed his fellowships in management in radiology and abdominal radiology research between 2004 and 2006 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. During this time period, he was a lecturer of radiology at the Harvard Medical School. In 2009, Dr. Erturk became the Secretary-General of the Turkish Society of Radiology. Between 2016 and 2018, Dr. Erturk served as the president of the Turkish Society of Magnetic Resonance. Currently, he is a professor of radiology at Istanbul University School of Medicine and an executive board member of The Turkish Society of Radiology.
Pablo R. Ros is a Professor of and Vice Chair of the Department of Radiology at Stony Brook University and a Professor of Pathology in the same institution. Dr. Ros has served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiology Case Western Reserve University and Professor and Executive Vice Chair at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He was a member of the Medical Imaging Drugs Advisory Panel at the FDA. His over 300 publications and 20 textbooks are primarily on abdominal and oncologic imaging, focusing on liver, pancreatic, mesenteric and gastrointestinal cross-sectional imaging with pathologic correlation. He holds a US patent in a gastrointestinal MRI contrast agent. He holds eleven editorial positions including past associate editor of Radiology.
Tomoaki Ichikawa is a professor of radiology of the Radiology Department of the Gunma University (Gunma, Japan). Dr. Ichikawa is an editorial board member and reviewer for the journal Investigative Radiology. He has published approximately 90 publications in peer-reviewed English language journals
Suzan Şaylısoy is a professor of radiology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University and she specializes in neuroradiology, and head and neck imaging. She has obtained her medical degree at Ankara University. She also completed her radiology residency training at Ankara University Medical School. She received her associate professor degree in 2015. In 2021, she became professor of radiology. Dr. Şaylısoy is certified by the European Board of Radiology.
