Aurora G. Morcillo, Ph.D. (1995) University of New Mexico, is Professor of History at Florida International University. Her publications include The Seduction of Modern Spain. The Female Body and the Francoist Body Politic (Bucknell University Press, 2010), True Catholic Womanhood: Gender Ideology in Franco Spain (Northern Illinois University Press, 2000 and 2008) and En cuerpo y Alma: Ser mujer en tiempos de Franco (Editorial Akal, forthcoming).
