This book provides an insight into the mechanism on the role of amino acid stereospecificity based amyloid beta aggregation pattern; non-apoptotic amyloid beta peptide induced DNA nicking and neuro-neutraceutical property of garlic and curcumin derivatives. These findings provide a molecular understanding of the neurodegeneration and neuroprotection in Alzheimers Disease brain. Novel neuroprotective strategies to treat various neurodegenrative disorders are discussed.
