en Limba Engleză Paperback – 24 mai 2023 – vârsta până la 5 ani
A vibrant picture book story to help encourage picky or reluctant eaters, perfect to read together with children aged 3+"I can't eat peas!" exclaimed Milo. "They're too GREEN! Greener than a stinky, swampy pond, greener than a giant dragon, greener than a fleet of space-sick aliens."It's fair to say that Milo doesn't like peas! Is it possible that his sister could help him change his mind by showing them how cool they can be? A fun, fantastical picture book which might just encourage little ones to give peas a chance!

Notă biografică

Tom McLaughlin has written and illustrated several books for Bloomsbury, including Along Came a Different and The Story Machine, which has received wonderfully positive reviews and has sparked a number of thought-provoking articles on dyslexia (which Tom understands well, being dyslexic himself). Tom loves drinking tea, eating lunch and drawing (in no particular order). He lives in Devon.

Recenzii

The book celebrates difference through the introduction of shapes and colours, recognising that being different doesn't mean you can't be friends
A winner of a book about the power of drawing and storytelling
Dyslexic readers should derive inspiration from this book's message, and delight in the drawings. A charming, rewarding, instructive read
Galactic resonances call to mind not only Oliver Jeffers' star-catching protagonists, but also a hint of The Little Prince
This fun, fantastical picture book, with its big, bold illustrations, is a lot of fun [.] A good picture book to use as a conversation starter and to complement activities based on healthy foods and mealtimes. And it just might encourage reluctant veg eaters to give peas a go
