More Than Words

This book looks at two fundamental reasons for this lack of power. The first is that we have lost our reverence and awe for God. We see God's primary responsibly to make us comfortable in this life. It is all about what God can do for us and not about worshipping a holy God whose ways are not our ways, whose thoughts are not our thoughts. The second is that we do not love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We give God our left-overs not our first fruits.

This book provides a process to draw close to God and experience His power every day. We need to:

1. Acknowledge who God is.
2. Repent of our false images of God.
3. Love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
4. Obey God because we love Him and want to please Him.
