I'll be the first to admit that if you would have known me as an adolescent that I'd be the least likely to be considered as an author. My focus through high school was basketball, l graduated from that to get a strong education at Morehouse College. From there, I defied the odds in a down economy to land a well-paying job in the insurance industry. The trajectory of my life changed, though, when I met who I very quickly determined would be my spouse.

She challenged me to be the best I could which revealed the deepest parts of my persona, and then she left.

Having sacrificed my livelihood for the possibility of spending more time with her, I found myself in a free-fall with nothing to grasp but my faith. Led to believe that my romantic relationship wasn't over and that I would eventually live my dreams, I battled through circumstances that would break most people and nearly lost myself in the process.
