Professor Ramesh S. ChaughuleProf. Ramesh S. Chaughule has completed his PhD at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India, a pioneer institute in India, and continued his research until his retirement. Also, he graduated in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and also an executive committee member of this academy. Presently he is an Adjunct Professor at Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai, India and guides students in their PhD programs. Dr. Chaughule has pioneered the field of NMR, MRI, and Nanotechnology. He was deputed to Indonesia by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) several times as an IAEA expert in the field of NMR. He is an awardee of many international Fellowships to carry out research programs in different countries. He has served as a guest scientist in several universities in the USA, UK, Germany, Taiwan, etc. Besides a number of research publications and book chapters to his credit, Dr. Chaughule has edited several books on MRI and Nanotechnology published by American Scientific Publishers, USA, and Springer Nature USA. He has organized several international conferences in India and serves on several educational committees including the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences.

Nearly 33 years of experience in the field of radiology with key roles in diagnostics, academics, and administration. Leading medical administrative functions and instrumental in clinical team expansion. Past Chairman, Indian College of Radiology and Imaging. Member of National Steering Committee for “Indigenous Magnetic Resonance Imaging (IMRI)” headed by IIT, Mumbai. Chairman, Scientific committee Asia Oceanic Congress of Radiology, 2018. Received best Radiology Teacher Award for 2019 at Radiology and Imaging Conclave 2019 with the Department of Imaging being awarded, Best Radiology Department in the private sector. Delivered more than 1000 lectures and orations at national and international conferences, including ‘India meets at RSNA at RSNA 2019, Chicago and ‘India meets ECR’ at ECR 2018, Vienna. Over 170 national and 80 international indexed publications, predominantly on Neuroimaging and musculoskeletal MRI-related topics. Post Graduate teacher for D.N.B. for the last 20 years.
Professor Raju V. Ramanujan
Prof. Raju V. Ramanujan is a Full Professor, at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He earned his undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees from IIT-Bombay and Carnegie Mellon University (USA), respectively. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Materials, a Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Science, and IEEE Senior Member. He serves/served on the Functional Materials Divisional Council, Magnetic Materials Committee (Chair), Phase Transformations Committee, and Awards Committees of TMS (USA). He was the lead organizer of several prestigious international conferences. Ramanujan serves/served in an editorial capacity for Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group), Nanomedicine, Metallurgical and Materials Transactions, Materials Science and Engineering B, and Materials Science and Engineering C. He has received the Nanyang Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Rolls Royce Inventors award. He is a Guest Professor at the South China University of Technology, University of North Texas, Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, and Mumbai University. He is ranked among the top 1% of researchers worldwide across all fields. His research interests include magnetic nanotechnology for bio and Lab-on-a-chip applications.
