This one-year project brought together leading individuals from environmental and industry groups to seek consensus on important national policy issues related to the use of coal in an environmentally and economically acceptable manner.

Notă biografică

Francis X. Murray is director of the National Coal Policy Project, which is sponsored by the Georgetown University Center for Strategic and International Studies. Mr. Murray is director of National Energy Programs at CSIS and also serves as adjunct professor at the university's School of Foreign Service, where he lectures on energy and foreign policy. He is the author of many energy policy publications, and is currently editor of the CSIS Federal Staff Energy Seminar reports.
