The present volume includes several written versions of lectures given at the conference Neue Forschungen zur Kuretenstrasse von Ephesos held at the Austrian Academy of Science in Vienna on December 13th 2006. The presentations were focused on the field of study of Hilke Thur, who devoted decades of her scientific career to the exploration of the Kuretenstrasse in Ephesos.
