Gerda R. Wekerle (Ph.D., sociology) are associate professors in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. Rebecca Peterson (Ph.D., psychology) are associate professors in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. David Morley (Ph.D., geography) are associate professors in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University.

Descriere

This book—the first such collection of papers on women and their environments—addresses specific problems encountered in homes and office buildings, in urban and suburban areas, and in neighbour hoods, and assesses the institutional barriers to change that have prevented women’s needs from being adequately addressed in the decision-making process.
