Donald Hamann is Professor of Music Education at the University of Arizona, where he teaches string pedagogy, graduate research, teacher education, and statistics courses. The author of Strategies for Teaching Strings: Building a Successful String and Orchestra Program (OUP, third edition, 2012), he has also published extensively in national and international string, education, and research journals.
