LINDA TAYLOR is a clinical psychologist at the School Mental Health Center of the Los Angeles Unified School District and Co-director of the School Mental Health Project at UCLA. She is also Director of the federally funded Early Assistance for Students and Families Project. Her work has appeared in three books and in a wide range of psychology and education journals.HOWARD S. ADELMAN is a Professor of Psychology at UCLA and Co-director of the School Mental Health Project. He is actively involved in several projects designed to restructure intervention in psychology and education. His diverse publications include journal articles, book chapters, and three previous books.
