Recenzii
'Orwell in Context is a must for every researcher, critic and aficionado of Orwell's work. It provides not only a stimulating and sometimes controversial close-reading of Orwell's fictional and journalistic work but also an insightful social history of Britain in the 1930s and 1940s.' - Kritikon Litterarum
'Ben Clarke's lucid and diligently researched Orwell in Context...provides challenging and persuasive readings of Orwell's work in its social and historical context. As such, Orwell in Context not only deserves a splace in every research library but also on the shelves of every admirer of Orwell's work.' - Christine Berberich, Modernism/Modernity
