TreeTops Storywriter is part of a structured reading programme for juniors from Oxford Reading Tree, Levels 9-16 and comprises: CD-ROMs, Pupils' Books and Teacher's Guides, one for each year group from Year 3/P4-Year 6/P7. Each CD-ROM provides a unique planning grid, enabling the children to plan and structure their story before they begin to write, as well as support for improving and 'publishing' their writing. It contains specially commissioned, complete stories by top TreeTops authors which demonstrate the key features of each fiction text type. The CD-ROM also provides teacher prompts for each screen to help teachers model the writing process, and audio tips and hints throughout for pupils working independently.
