Recenzii
An interesting and well constructed book.
While academic Pentecostal theology, especially in North America, tends to distance itself from the alliance sealed by the movement with evangelical theology in the mid 20th century, this book has the merit to open a dialogue on other bases.
This is a fine book, especially in its descriptions of the theologies of Edwards and the Pentecostals, and in its attempt to analyse Edwards' theological connection to the Pentecostals.
I enthusiastically recommend this book for anyone interested in Edwards studies but even more, for seekers of spiritual renewal wary of the theological challenges commonly hindering a vibrant and healthy Christian faith.
