Dr. Z. Oya Özçayır is an associate professor of maritime law and an Honorary Fellow at Exeter University Law School. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Maritime Risk International and member of İzmir Law Bar in Turkey. She works as a freelance maritime law consultant (www.lawofthesea.co.uk) both in the UK and Turkey. She is also a frequent speaker at international conferences and an experienced trainer and lecturer.
