Notă biografică
K. C. Manorama Thampatti is the Head, Department of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Kerala Agricultural University, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She is a faculty of the Kerala Agricultural University since 1987. Her fields of research specialization are wet land chemistry, soil and water pollution assessment and mitigation, bioremediation of soil contaminants, and solid waste management. She has to her credit more than 50 research papers in peer reviewed international and national journals and three chapters in books.
Descriere
This book deals with the problem soils, their constraints and management in the Indian context. The book starts with the introduction on problem soils and then attempts to cover most of the problematic soils in India.
