Proetry, This

Autor Priscilla Hazelett
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 30 sep 2015
"PROETRY, THIS" is the author's first collection of "proems." This combination of poetry and prose styles relates a Baby Boomer's life and travels. The author tells her stories in "truth fiction" from life experiences of a lonely singularity, liberal faith, intellect, and soul to contribute to perspectives of reality which shape our experiences from imagination. Told in what she calls "proetic realisms," or, for some, "relative realisms" she shares her goals to find what is real and what is not, both for herself and for other humans

"PROETRY, THIS" is the author's "proetic realisms." The author hopes others will find theirs in their own search for their own lives.

About the Author

Priscilla Hazelett, born in Logan, West Virginia, has lived in a variety of environments while she traveled and wrote about her interesting life from childhood play days to higher education. After finishing high school in Huntington, West Virginia she attended Marshall University. She graduated from Morris Harvey College in Charlestown, West Virginia, in 1971 with a B.S. in Biological and Natural Sciences. Graduate work was done in biology and psychology.

Problems with depression led Hazelett to counseling where she was diagnosed with bi-polar disease. Through years of therapy and medications, she wrote for enjoyment.

Hazelett relishes the humanness in each of us. Creative writing helps us explore our lives and how they can change as easily and colorfully as a kaleidoscope. She finds we cannot predict how the chips will fall and prepare us for "new realities," beliefs and understanding towards our fellow human beings.
