Brian Hemmings, PhD is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Sport Psychology at The University of Winchester UK. Brian is a Registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a Fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES). He has published extensively in applied sport psychology including co-authoring five books, 15 book chapters and over 50 peer reviewed research articles. He has worked in sport psychology combining academic, supervisory, mentoring and applied roles since 1993, having 30 years of experience as a consultant psychologist across multiple sports in a variety of training and competition environments. He has presented extensively worldwide to a variety of audiences including coaches, athletes, students, and psychologists.
Tim Holder, PhD is a Registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a Fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES). Tim is an applied sport psychology consultant and supervisor to students working towards practitioner status in the UK. He is Programme Leader for the MSc in Applied Sport Psychology at the University of Winchester.
Stacy Winter, DProf is an Associate Professor in Applied Sport Psychology at St Mary’s University in Twickenham, London, UK. Her research work is primarily focused on developing professional practice in sport psychology, encompassing performance, well-being, and mental health. She has published widely across the sport psychology domain, in addition to external partner work in health-care settings, and multidisciplinary applied collaborations. Stacy sits on the editorial board for Case Studies in Sport and Exercise Psychology and reviews for every prestigious journal in the subject field. In addition to research activities, Stacy is a Registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) Accredited Practitioner. Her experience stems over 18-years of providing psychological support both within high-performance sporting environments and through consulting to a range of professional and Olympic sporting clients and organisations.
