Quilt Local: Stewart, Tabori, & Chang

Autor Heather Jones Fotografii de Jenny Hallengren
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 30 sep 2015
Pattern by pattern, Jones takes readers behind the scenes of her own process, offering photographs of her sources of inspiration, sketchbook pages, and the finished quilts as well as a discussion of the design process. With an emphasis on color as an integral element of design, with each pair of quilts, Jones explains the basics of color theory and demonstrates how even subtle shifts can dramatically change the overall look of a finished piece. While many quilters will copy these quilts exactly or only vary them slightly, Jones's goal is to teach quilters how to see the inspiration that is inevitably before their eyes every day
