Collins II, on August 30, 1972, at George Washington Hospital, in Washington DC. While raised in "Glassmanor," he frequented many schools in and out of Washington, DC. The First school he remembered attending was also attended by Amy Carter, the daughter of then President Jimmy Carter. Buttons recalls seeing Secret Service men escorting Amy Carter to her classroom every morning. He eventually graduated from Oxon Hill High School. During his incarceration, he completed a correspondence course at Stratford Career Institute. Buttons is now certified in Fitness and Nutrition, as well as an inspired author.
