Previously, he was the president of International Political Risk Analytics, a start-up which he founded to provide consulting services to enterprises considering cross-border opportunities. Earlier he served as an analyst in the Intelligence Community and a staff member in the US Senate. His analytical work on foreign policy and national security issues has been featured in publications such as Parameters, Forbes, and The Diplomat. He has an MBA from Cornell University, a MA in International Affairs from George Washington University, and a BA in Foreign Affairs & History from University of Virginia.
