Notă biografică
Bramwell Tout has worked with people in need including the homeless, people with addiction or mental health problems for over 25 years. As a Christian his motivation has always been to help others see potential in themselves. Bramwell has drawn on his experiences from his work and personal life in writing this collection of his poems.
A busy father of four, he was working as CEO of a mental health charity when he started writing for this collection on 1st Jan 2017. In April 2017 he suffered a stroke while on a day visit to London and was rushed to hospital. Personal and Face Book friends prayed for his recovery and 3 days after his stroke he was walking out of hospital unaided.
Since his stroke Bramwell has continued to write poetry, although he finds writing very tiring and has had to develop a new routine. A keen musician Bramwell was disappointed to be told not to continue playing in brass bands for health reasons. Listening to music is still a pleasure and something he does while writing. Some of the poems in this collection can be sung as songs, their writing having been influenced by music Bramwell was listening to at the time.
Having completed this work, Bramwell is now engaged in writing further collections of poems based on the Books of Esther, Ruth and Proverbs. He is also writing a Rubaiyat based on the Nativity.
