Dr. Rodríguez is an educational leader focused on supporting local, state and national initiatives and programs. Dr. Rodriguez is a member of various educational organizations, including, the California League of High Schools and Association of California Administrators. Dr. Rodríguez has served on the California Awards for Performance Excellence California state as a senior examiner, Distinguished Schools, Schools to Watch, Gold Ribbon Awards and 21st Century imitative. Dr. Rodríguez has been in the educational profession for over thirty-six years, having served as an elementary classroom teacher, high school counselor and high school principal in traditional and alternative education. Casas is the state chair for the administrative credential and graduate degree program for the five California campuses of Argosy University. He has served as an adjunct professor in graduate and undergraduate courses in education and educational leadership for Cambridge College, Chapman University, Ontario; Concordia University, Irvine; and California State University, Los Angeles.Dr. Casas retired from public education in 2008 after serving more than thirty-six years. He served as deputy superintendent for Lynwood Unified School District and as district superintendent for Brawley Union High School District in California. Dr. Casas retired as associate dean for Pacific Oaks College in 2015. He served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal for middle and high schools. He is a member of the Association of California School Administrators, Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, and California Association of Supervisors of Child Welfare and Attendance. Before receiving his educational doctorate in educational leadership and organizational management from Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Casas earned his MA in educational administration and his BS in recreation/sports administration from California State University, Los Angeles.
