In survival analysis, one is interested in techniques for analyzing nonnegative random variables. The presence of censoring distinguishes survival analysis from other fields of statistics. In this thesis we will always assume a randomly right censorship model.Special attention is devoted to the construction of regression estimates for the right censorship model. We prove various results concerning consistency and rate of convergence of suitably defined least squares spline regression estimates.
