Prab Bhatt is Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Glasgow University, UK and author or editor of eight other books, including Programming the Dynamic Analysis of Structures, and Design of Prestressed Concrete Structures, both published by Taylor & Francis.
Tom MacGinley and Ban Seng Choo were experienced academics in Singapore, Newcastle, Nottingham and Edinburgh.

Proper background to design of statically indeterminate structures with a proper treatment of joint rotation capacity, comprehensive treatment of: yieldline method, Hillerborg's strip method, design using elastic stress fields, etc and the design of whole structure as opposed to individual elements only. …The explanations of the theory are clearly expressed and there are lots of good examples.
