Notă biografică
An Liu is a post-doctoral research fellow in Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University. She received Bachelors and Masters in Environmental Science from Wuhan University and PhD in Environmental Engineering from Queensland University of Technology in 2011. Her research interests include urban stormwater quality, hydrologic modeling, stormwater treatment design and Low Impact Development (LID). Ashantha Goonetilleke is Professor in Water/Environmental Engineering at Queensland University of Technology with over 30 years experience. His areas of research interest include, water pollution and mitigation, water supply security, water infrastructure resilience, conservation and sustainability, climate change adaptation strategies in relation to water resources management and protection of human and ecosystem health, Quantitative Chemical Risk Assessment in the context of water pollution, water and wastewater treatment and water reuse and recycling. Prasanna Egodawatta is a Senior Lecturer in Water/Environmental Engineering at Queensland University of Technology. He received the PhD from Queensland University of Technology in 2007. He has over a decade of experience in both industry and academia in water and environmental engineering fields. The main foci of his current research are urban hydrology, stormwater quality and water and environmental systems modeling. Dr Egodawatta has published extensively in environmental science and environmental engineering fields with key focus on stormwater quantity and quality modeling.
Caracteristici
Provides an innovative rainfall classification and rainfall selection approach to strengthen stormwater treatment design in order to identify appropriate rainfall events for a given urban catchment to ensure greater reliability in treatment design Delivers comprehensive application of multivariate data analysis techniques demonstrating how large data matrices can be processed to derive meaningful outcomes Availability of a state-of-the-art review of literature to enable readers understand the current status of knowledge in relation urban stormwater quality including factors that influence stormwater pollutant processes and model application A through and clear practical example of how knowledge transfer from the research arena to practical application Includes supplementary material: sn.pub/extras
