Notă biografică
Christie Lea lives in British Columbia, Canada, with her husband, James, children, Nicholas and Nulah, and their wayward beagle, Obi. Christie's own struggles with anxiety and disconnectedness helped to inspire this work, and its creation has contributed greatly to her continued personal healing. Christie is an avid proponent of learning through reading and hopes that her first children's book, Safe in Starry Arms, will comfort, educate and inspire all who read it. Illustrator Bio: Di is a self-taught artist and illustrator living on Bowen Island, Canada. Since childhood, Di has explored nature to help spark creativity and calm her nerves. As an adult, Di continues this practice, feeling most at peace when surrounded by the amazing natural world. Di conveys her curiosity of the Universe and passion for science through acrylic paintings and illustrations. Di recently designed a set of wall murals for the BC Children's Hospital, and hopes that her creative energy continues to help and inspire children through difficult times. This is her first children's book.
