Tommy Townsend, a young author and English instructor from the University of Washington has come to the panhandle of Oklahoma to interview his aging grandfather for his next book. The long-promised interview is to discover the secret surrounding a mining accident in 1968 which buried alive Tom Howard, his "Papa Tom." Our hero becomes exposed to more than just secrets - a woman with secrets of her own, a dangerous criminal on the run, and truths that will both inspire and break your heart are revealed in this suspenseful romance. "Secrets" is the anticipated sequel to John Mills' first novel, "Buried."

About the Author

Due to a disabling heart condition, John retired early from a career in marketing and graphic design. He took up sailing, speaking, consulting, and writing. After penning and publishing "Secrets," he set out to assist fellow writers and founded Franklin Scribes Publishing.
