Notă biografică

Orlanda was born in May of 1975 to parents who would spiral out of control and fall victim to the gritty streets of Detroit. She grew up fast, living the life of an adult by age 10. There were no Silver Spoons in her kitchen drawer and she wasn't born with one in her mouth.Life for Orlanda wasn't easy. The hardships she experienced made her the woman she is today. Not one to use adversity to garner pity and feelings of sorrow from people, she stayed motivated. Dysfunction, and drug abuse were regular to her, but she's not bitter or angry, it's safe to say that she's accepted her destiny. Today, she no longer worries about drug addicted parents, dysfunction, or adversity, her life is a "Dream Come True." Instead of worrying about where her next meal is coming from, or if her parents are alert enough to take care of her, she worries about her investment portfolio, her tenants paying rent on time, what to wear, or which car to drive. No longer the little girl in the ghetto, she's a woman who thinks strategically and strives to help others. She's sharing her story and her blessings with others. Whether it's hope, peace, motivation, or financial, she helps others. Forgiving those who wronged her, brings her peace. Not one to forget her upbringing, she visits her old neighborhoods as a reminder. A reminder that she went from being a "Bum," to driving a "Bentley."
