Jake’s life turns into a constant search, filled with twists and turns, good people, and bad people, and we excitingly accompany him on the trail he sets out on, searching for the love of his life. 🌟 “Six Years” is my first Harlan Coben novel, after having binge-watched his Netflix mini-series (“The Stranger”, “Safe”, “Stay Close”, “The Woods”, “The Innocent”, and “Gone for Good”), and I can tell you I was not disappointed. Suspense novels were not necessarily my cup of tea, but I definitely enjoyed this one. I almost binge-read it too, without suspecting too much of the truth until it was fully revealed. Just like Jake, I had my hunches, but none of them turned out to be exactly what the author had in mind. Long story short, should you like to read a witty, contemporary novel of suspense, Harlan Coben’s Six Years is a page turner which should be on your “to-be-read” list.
