LARRY M. GANT is Associate Professor, University of Michigan School of Social Work. He is extensively involved in the development and transfer of community based psychosocial intervention in HIV/AIDS care.PATRICIA A. STEWART is a social worker who manages an independent psychotherapy and consulting practice in Philadelphia, PA. She has extensive experience as a clinician and administrator in the areas of child welfare and medical social work and has interest and expertise in HIV/AIDS care in African American communities.VINCENT J. LYNCH directs the National Research and Training Center on Social Work and HIV/AIDS at Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. He has served as co-editor of The Changing Face of AIDS: Implications for Social Work Practice (Auburn House, 1993) and Caring for the HIV/AIDS Caregiver (Auburn House, 1996).
