Sir Richard C. Jebb, Regius Professor of Greek and Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, UK, was one of the foremost classicists of the Victorian era. His editions of Sophocles' had a profound influence on subsequent scholarship. P.E. Easterling is Regius Professor Emeritus of Greek in the University of Cambridge, UK, and a Fellow of Newnham College. She is general editor of the Cambridge Greek and Latin Classics series.Feilx Budelmann is a lecturer at the Open University and author of The Language of Sophocles (2000).
