Notă biografică

Hongchang Li is a full professor at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), special commentator for China Central Television and China Railway Network, and an anonymous reviewer for the Journal of Transport Geography (English), Case Studies on Transport Policy (English), Railway Economics Research (Chinese), and Technical Economics (Chinese). He has been engaged in transportation economics research for more than 20 years and is specialized in railway transportation economics, logistics and management, reform and reorganization, etc. He participated in the World Conference on Railway Research in Seoul (2008) and the World Conference on Transportation Research (2012). In recent years, he has published dozens of papers in the Journal of Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part D, Transportation Research Part E, Transport Policy, International Railways, Railway Gazette International, Journal of System and Management,Railway Economics Research, Comprehensive Transportation, Logistical Techniques, etc. He has presided over or taken part in research projects sponsored by international organizations (the World Bank), national governments or authorities (the National Social Science Foundation, the National Development and Reform Commission, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Transportation, China Civil Aviation Management Bureau), Ministry of Railways (which is separated into China Railway Corporation and China Railway Supervision and Management Bureau), local governments (Shandong Development and Reform Commission, Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission), railway bureaus and enterprises. He maintains close connections with railway experts at the World Bank, National Development and Reform Commission, representatives of Korean National Railroad, Institute for Transport Policy Studies at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Gifu University in Japan, and Indian Ministry of Railways.
