Anita M. Moorman is Professor of Sport Administration at the University of Louisville, USA. She teaches sport law and legal aspects of sport. Professor Moorman is licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court when she served as co-counsel for nine disability sport organizations on an amicus curiae brief in the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act case involving the professional golfer, Casey Martin (Martin v. PGA Tour, 2001). She served as an expert consultant for the SB206 California Community College Name, Image, and Likeness Working Group studying the impact of NIL policies and legislation on community college athletes. Her research interests include examining contractual and commercial relationships in sport and the unique impact that numerous Supreme Court decisions have had in the sport industry with a focus on participant rights in sport.

Her research focused on torts, contracts, and employment law in the context of a variety of sport organizations.
Cathryn Claussen retired as Professor Emerita from the Sport Management Program at Washington State University, USA, where she taught courses in sport law, sport ethics, and sport sociology. Her research focused on civil rights and civil liberties in the context of managing sport enterprises.
