Dr John Harris is Reader in International Sport & Event Management at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland. He is author of Rugby Union and Globalization (Palgrave Macmillan) and numerous articles focusing on sport, tourism and national identities in Wales.
Descriere
This book considers the role of the nation and national identities in relation to important sports events. It explores the ways in which these identities are framed through media narratives, sponsorship and community participation as relates to sport tourism.
