Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra is Professor of International Business and Strategy at Northeastern University, USA, an AIB Fellow and co-editor of Global Strategy Journal. He studies the internationalization of firms, particularly emerging market multinationals; governance issues, especially corruption; and capability upgrading.
