AK Nigam served as Professor and Head, Training & Basic Research at the Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), India. He specializes in public health, food and agriculture and nutrition. He conducted the state-based women and child nutrition survey for the Department of Women and Child, State Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
