ROBERT REHDER is currently Professor of English and American Literature at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. He is the author of Wordsworth and the Beginnings of Modern Poetry, The Poetry of Wallace Stevens, and a book of poems, The Compromises Will Be Different.
