Cardiovascular disease-including heart disease and stroke-is the leading cause of death in the United States. Every day, 2,200 people die from cardiovascular diseases-that's nearly 800,000 Americans each year, or 1 in every 3 deaths. Louis Turbeville, like many of those affected by these statistics, thought "Never Me." In 2013, Louis was struck with not one of the categories of above, but two. Journey with him through the all too common walk, many of us will be touched by in our life-time.
