Stubby's Day

Autor Kayla Kautz
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 24 iul 2023 – vârsta până la 12 ani
Follow the playful antics of Stubby the lovable black cat in this heartwarming children's book. Meet Stubby, the lovable black cat with a nub for a tail. While his siblings were born with normal tails, Stubby's tail stayed super short. But that never stopped Stubby from living his best life. Join Stubby in his everyday adventures around his cozy home. Stubby's Dayshows that black cats, and cats who may develop a little differently than others, are just as worthy of love and affection. Through his spirited explorations of the world around him, Stubby demonstrates how differences make us special and enduring to those who care for us. Children and parents who read Stubby's Day may fall head over heels for Stubby as he scratches cardboard, pounces on toy mice, and finally falls asleep exhausted in his favorite orange chair. Stubby's Day is a delightful treat for young readers who love the adorable antics of cats. The book's simple language and playful tone make it an ideal bedtime story for children just starting to read for themselves. Parents hoping to find a storybook to help their child develop a deep love and empathy for pets will value the sweet and charming Stubby. Complete with cute illustrations, Stubby's Day makes a splendid gift for the whole family of cat-lovers to enjoy.

Notă biografică

Kayla Kautz lives in Illinois and graduated from Richmond-Burton Community High school in 2010. She enjoys drawing, writing, and taking care of her beloved animals including her adopted horse, Mister, her sweet black cat with a stub tail, Stubby, and Stubby's adopted little brother cat, Riot. It has been on Kayla's bucket list to be a published author, and Kayla felt inspired to tell children about Stubby. Her hope is that kids will love Stubby's adorable antics just as much as she does.
