Recenzii
Conway includes a critically important new section on understanding today's college music student, bringing into focus the important topics of identity development and learner-centered pedagogy. The new edition comes to life through music student vignettes and interview transcripts that provide rich, first-hand stories of the real world of the collegiate music school. Faculty voices from the field offer a clear view into the life of studio teaching, with compelling and proven recommendations.
An indispensable resource for any musician thinking about a career in higher education. The second edition is comprehensive, practical, and includes the most current ideas in the field. The chapters on strategies for finding the first job and navigating a music career in higher education provide vital practical advice for early-career musicians.
