This book explores the pivotal role played by technology over the past decade in advancing global public health and health care. Dr. Murthy has been a respected leader and mentor on scientific health-related matters within the UN system for many years. Padmini Murthy, MD, MPH, MS, FAMWA, FRSPH, is professor and global health director at New York Medical College, School of Health Sciences and Practice, in Valhalla, New York, USA. Dr. Murthy is Medical Women’s International Associations Secretary - General and NGO representative to the United Nations. She is also Global Health lead of American Medical Women’s Association and a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.

Amy Ansehl, DNP, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, is associate dean for Student Experience at New York Medical College, School of Health Sciences and Practice, in Valhalla, New York, USA. She is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and Chairperson of the Visiting Nurse Service Westchester Foundation.
