I like the attitudes of the characters: sarcastic, slightly ironic on what people do in times of crisis or of things mundane, simple, everyday, despite the desperate situation they are in, I enjoy to know that there are people who can find and little joy. The author offers us a book full of disturbing images of a world that are in disrepair, became overnight terrifying world, destroyed by aliens, and the greedy desires of people desperate to survive. I wanted to "see" more aliens as just what this is about in the book, or even a bit more action with them, not with people, even if we do not provide a clear picture on them. I wanted to know more about others, about their intention that only about people we already know enough.
