The Adventures of Lincoln begins when his friend the old shepherd brings him an abandoned baby donkey to raise. The old shepherd stops in to see how the baby donkey is doing. One day he tells Lincoln the story about the night an angel appeared to him as he was herding sheep. The angle told him and the other sheepherders that the Savior of the world was born. The old shepherd and the others went to see the Christ child. Lincoln dreams that some day he will be able to meet Jesus too
