Notă biografică

Steve Juke is now 67 years young and is a father to three wonderful children and grandfather to six equally wonderful grandchildren and three step-grandchildren who are also wonderful. In 2020, Steve sustained a nasty accident at Penmaen Chapel which is the first place Tommy and his party see when they approach their new homes in Oakdale and is mentioned in the story. Steve volunteered to help clean the overgrown graveyard and a large gravestone weighing about half a ton toppled over onto him, pinning him to the floor. It took four people to lift it off him. As a result, he sustained eight breaks to the pelvis and serious damage internally which required a special operation in London. He was hospitalised for three months but started writing again whilst waiting for the operation.
