Descriere
This book reviews the early industrial revolution in France, the arts scene, French politics and the press, 1830s–80s. It focuses on Scottish engineer Daniel Wilson, his daughter Marguerite and son Daniel – the son-in-law of the Republic's President, Jules Grévy, and considered his “evil genius."
