We have had it drilled in to us from a young age to be told what we have to do, that when we actually get to decide for ourselves, we're stuck. We're stuck on how to be alone and comfortable in silence. We're stuck on how to listen and not just have a to-do list. We're stuck that we can't have a plan and have to "trust" someone else to have control. Our culture strips what God designed into a weekly checklist that yields religion, not faith.
