Charity considers herself damaged goods. She's more than hesitant to enter into a new romantic relationship, but when she has car trouble, a handsome mechanic rescues her. He calls himself James, and she thinks for a moment this might be the guy. She learns too late that James has some serious dark secrets. It turns out James is a gargoyle-part of the never-ending battle between good versus evil on Earth. Their sexual chemistry is extreme, and even levelheaded Charity can't resist the temptation.
